A first look at Citrix ShareFile
Today I activated my free trail ShareFile account. I must say I was very impressed with what I’ve seen.
ShareFile allows you to create a custom-branded, password-protected space where you can exchange business files with clients easily and securely. Whether you need to send large files by email, conduct a secure file transfer, or just require a collaboration space where project-related files can be posted.
It’s a new step in the post pc era towards acceptance of Cloud computing.
ShareFile offers you an set of plugins. Below I’ve gathered some screenshots.
Desktop Widget
The desktop widget is installed onto your pc or laptop. It gives you the opportunity to drag and drop files to ShareFile from your desktop.
Microsoft Outlook Plugin
The outlook plugin integrates into Microsoft Outlook
The Outlook plugin gives you the ability to send, request or convert files from and to ShareFile
Management Console
Gives you the ability to manage and brand your ShareFile environment
FTP option.
No need for an FTP server anymore!
