Uninstall Exchange 2007 SP1 from a Windows 2008 R2 server

Yesterday I tried to uninstall a Exchange 2007 SP1 server from a Windows 2008 R2 server. I’ve you go to Programs and Features and try to uninstall it wil fail.

A Q&D(quick and dirty)workarround for this is go to HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Exchange\v8.0\MailboxRole en rename de REG_SZ=Uninstall to Install. Try again to uninstall. It worked for me.
